Terms and Conditions

1. Applicability

These terms apply to all services and agreements with AutoHan (BE 0756.999.579), established in 1840 Londerzeel.

2. Appointments and cancellation

Services are provided by appointment only. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the deposit may be retained.

3. Chiptuning — important

• Chiptuning may affect the manufacturer’s warranty. The customer is aware of this.
• Software-aanpassingen zoals DPF-off, EGR-off, AdBlue-off zijnexclusively for use on private property or a racetracken kunnen niet legaal op de openbare weg worden gebruikt. De klant draagt de volledige verantwoordelijkheid.
• AutoHan provides a 12-month warranty on its own software modification, subject to normal use and no intervention by third parties.
• Stage 2 and extensive modifications may require upgraded hardware (exhaust, cooling, clutch).

4. Payment

Payment is made online (Stripe) or on site. A deposit may be required for online bookings. The balance is payable upon completion and handover.

5. Sale of used cars

• Each vehicle is sold in its condition at the time of sale, following inspection by the buyer.
• Statutory warranty: a minimum of 12 months for consumers under Belgian law.
• No direct online purchase — only after an in-person inspection and signing.

6. Online shop

Online purchases of physical products are subject to a 14-day right of withdrawal (Article VI.47 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law), except for custom-made items.

7. Liability

AutoHan is not liable for indirect or consequential damage. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount of the relevant invoice.

8. Governing law

Op deze overeenkomst is uitsluitend het Belgisch recht van toepassing. Geschillen behoren tot de bevoegdheid van de rechtbanken van het gerechtelijk arrondissement Brussel. Consumenten kunnen zich richten tot de Consumentenombudsdienst:consumentenombudsdienst.be.
